Entrepreneur Matt Scandora invented Flux Headphones. Scandora has startup experience with BookEndz Apple computer docking stations and a reseller, Just Dock It. Scandora identified missing and tangled headphones as a common problem six months ago. Since then he has spent his time and several thousand dollars developing the product, including getting prototype samples and selecting the ideal materials. He feels consumers will adapt Flux Headphones because they are a simple solution with no additional add-ons or attachments.
Scandora believes people will contribute to his project for a practical reason – they themselves have lost or faced tangled headphones. So his rewards system focuses on getting his product into contributor’s hands. Equally as simple, his marketing has focused on social media.
